The business of affiliate marketing is taking hold as one of the best ways to make money online. The reasons for people embracing it are numerous, but its mostly for the benefit of being able to work from home for a little extra money on the side or to make a full time income if they get good enough at it. Forget the people that are telling you its too hard to get started if you don't know such and such programming languages or how to design a perfect web layout! I'm going to give you the low down on how you too can get into affiliate marketing, even if you don't know where to start.
So it may sound a little scary at first, but the term affiliate marketing is actually a huge term that could mean any number of different things. Broken down to its core, all it really is, is the act of selling another company's products for some type of commission, almost always cash. Doesn't that sound nice?
Of course the next question people have is, "Alright great, so how do I sell this stuff?" Good to see you're on the ball here, but let's do the "what" before we do the "how". What is it you would like to sell? Even better, how do we know what companies want us to sell their stuff? All joking aside, there are probably millions of affiliate programs out there for every different niche you could think of. Amazon? Yep. Ebay? Check. Moe's Texas Style 100% Authentic Cowboy Boots? Definitely. Go ahead and try it out, hit up your favorite retailer on the internet, and check out their site for an "affiliates" section. Once you find the page, you should read through their terms and make sure you find out what kind of commission they offer on products that you would want to promote. Some websites offer great commission percentages, and others don't, so do your research!
So we've got our product, great! This is the best part, we now have to get inside people's heads on why they should really buy this product. What we're going to do is write an article explaining why everyone should buy this. This is where your writing skills really need to shine, because it will help you earn that much more cash. We now are going to submit our perfect articles to article directories. To find these just type "article directory" into Google, and the more you submit to the better. In all seriousness, if you wanna make some cash you'll have to submit these to quite a few directories. Each directory should have a resource box for each article you submit, always remember to add your affiliate link in here.
